Located in Mount Vernon, Indiana, C.T. Phoenix of Indiana, Inc. is owned and operated by Larry Tully. Larry was first introduced to urethane roofing in 1969 after Hurricane Camille devastated the Mississippi Gulf Coast. While involved with the clean up and rebuilding, he noticed that structures with Urethane roofs had minimal damage. This led to the purchase of his first foam machine. After extensive training from C.P.R. UpJohn on Urethanes, he started SPF applications in 1970. Neoguard was the first serious coating company that he used. He soon became a trained Dow-Corning Silicone applicator and concentrated working on school systems and department stores. Experience with silicone demanded an evolution to an easier to repair and maintain system which led to the current SPF systems that C.T. Phoenix uses today. He was trained by Bear Systems on Spray Foam and Plastics in 1974. He has been trained on many other specific systems and has provided training and consulting services for numerous companies. Larry has repaired and installed well over 1 million sq ft of Urethane roofs. He also has experience in the application of Epdm, Pib and other sheet systems, shingle, slate, hot asphalt, cold process, and aluminized coatings.
